About the Study
This study plans to learn more about how an omega-3 fatty acid dietary supplement may affect triglyceride levels in pregnancy. A mother’s glucose (blood sugar) level has been the main focus of studying why some babies are born larger. But, triglycerides, a type of fat found in the blood, can also be broken down by the placenta and be used for fetal growth.
